Privacy Policy

Risk-less ("the App") is developed by Christopher Dasari. This policy explains how the App handles your information.

Data We Collect

The App collects only the portfolio data you voluntarily enter (ticker symbols, share counts, and weights). This data is stored locally on your device using SwiftData and is sent to our server solely to perform risk analysis calculations. We do not store your portfolio data on our servers after the analysis is complete.

Data We Do Not Collect

• No personal information (name, email, phone number)
• No location data
• No device identifiers or tracking data
• No usage analytics or telemetry
• No cookies or third-party trackers

Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services for data processing:

• Yahoo Finance (via yfinance) — to retrieve market data for your tickers. Yahoo Finance's own privacy policy applies to data they collect.
• Groq — to generate plain-English explanations of your risk metrics. Only anonymized portfolio metrics (not raw ticker data) are sent to Groq for interpretation.

Data Security

All communication between the App and our server is encrypted via HTTPS. Portfolio data is processed in memory and not persisted on our servers.

Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date.
